Octaplait Mooring Strops - Soft Eye & Thimble

Mooring strop allows boats to be moored to buoys. Mooring strops should be long enough so that the chain doesn't hit the boat - but no longer. High quality high spliced mooring strops available in rope diameters of 18mm-28mm, made from a strong 8 strand nylon rope which offers great shock absorption properties and is very flexible. This non-kinking octoplait rope is recommended as it can withstand the most adverse weather conditions.

This rope can come with a wear sleeve of PVC Hose, wear sleeve is shown in image above. This rope will come complete with a galvanised thimble spliced at one end.
