Wire Rope Socketing
Through Verope AG, we can offer socketing end stops based on the specifications of the crane manufacturers, and all wire rope socketing is carried out to DIN EN 13411-4 standards. The socket fitting process can be carried out on a broad range of cranes step by step in our workshop or on site. The process includes properly brooming and cleaning the wire rope ends, then using Wirelock Resin or White Metal to attach the end sockets. We stock both open and closed Spelter Sockets and Swaged Sockets, and our expertly trained engineers at short notice can re-socket Crane Ropes for the Port, Offshore, Construction, Shipping, Mining and Heavy Industry. Offering wire rope socketing service on small to large diameter ropes from 6mm up to 120mm diameters.
