Free Standing 12 Person Traditional Smoking Shelter with Perforated Steel Back
Supplied Flat Packed for Self Assembly, Installation over extra on request.
Made from a robust all-weather construction, the Traditional Smoking Shelter is a functional solution to providing employees with a place to smoke, following the introduction of the ban on smoking in the workplace.
The structure is more than 50% open, which allows for rapid dispersal of cigarette fumes.
Each shelter has a corrugated rof, perspex sides for clear visibility into and out of the shelter and a perforated steel back.
Traditional Smoking Shelters must be installed by bolting the feet to 250mm thick concrete pads, or by embedding the legs in concrete below ground level. Installing directly into block paving or tarmac is not recommended. Adjustable feet allow easy on-site positioning.
For locations within five miles of the coast, we recommend an additional weather resistant coating is applied for a modest extra cost to all the steel work. This is to reduce the risk of rusting from saline conditions.
