Rescue from Falls from Height

Working from height safely requires skills and training in order to understand the consequences of actions and potential risks.  Our experienced instructors can provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to work from height safely and rescue others who have fallen from height.

The Rescue from Falls from Height training course aims to ensure that trainees are aware of the legal and best practice requirements when using fall protection equipment, and to ensure they recieve the skills, knowledge and confidence to execute rescues on trainees who have fallen from height. It involves both theoretical and practical elements and following successful completion of the course, enables trainees to fulfil their legal duties under the Work at Height Regulations 2005 regarding provision of rescue.

On completion of this course, trainees should be able to:
  • Assess the emergency situation that requires the rescue of a fallen person
  • Execute that rescue in a safe and effective manner 
  • Administer basic first aid while emergency help is on its way

Trainees will be issued with a certificate demonstrating they are competent to perform rescues in the event of an emergency and safely return a casualty to the ground which is valid for 2 years.
